Fruit of the week is plum

Here is another fruit of the summer. Although this month is not the perfect time for plums, but I've got inspiration from some wonderful photos about them. These items are available on my Etsy shop.

Deli products

I've got a special request last week, deli products in old style into a counter of a rustic salami and cheese shop. The customer entrusted all the details to me, I got free hand. My way! This is the result. Today I sent her photos about is, hope she would like it!

Size of the scene is 80 x 50mm.

Addiction

I'm addicted to fruits, but it's forgivable in summer. Now I'm going into my fruit garden to take some red-currants.

Fruit of the week is cherry

The markets are filled with delicious cherries, the most wanted fruits by me. On my family there is a curse not to be able to keep a cherry tree in our garden. In my orchard there every type of fruit trees, apricot, apple, peach, sour cherry, pear and quince, but the third cherry tree wasted away last summer. Cherry tree doesn't like us (or the soil and climate of my garden)! Luckily we have very kind neigbours and friends who always give us some baskets of cherries.
These sweet fruits inspired me to make the miniatures on the photos.

Leaf platter

As you could read in my previous post I'm on a new scene named "White Harmony". I think this leaf platter would be a very decorative holder of some strictly green (or greenish) fruits. For the platter I used real sage leaf from my garden. These have very deep and distinct vein structure to leave fine prints on the fimo. Maybe a grape leave is missing from the platter, isn't it?

Enamelware

In thinking about the "White Harmony" I played with geometry to design the parts of some enamelware. When I learned geometry in the past I didn't know I would be very grateful for that. Now I'm perfect in drawing surfaces of truncated cones. So this is my collection...

I'm working on ...

So the title of my new scene is "White harmony". The most important piece of this scene will be this shabby birdcage. As the title says the main color will be the white, but I will loosen it some green shades. In my opinion the white and green together are very elegant.
Don't you think the best detail of the birdcage is its cast shadow? It's so delicate!
